Jeff and all, Here is Hughes response to the allegations: hughes.com Though I am not from China, I am sure almost all Chinese companies are run by individuals with huge ties to government or military in the early days when it started to have contacts with western world. In China, one can not do business without government officials and military personnel involved. Government-run business is still the most likely corporate form in China I believe. It is a common practice. We should ask Dr. Henry Kissinger and other Republicans as if they do not know these facts! Good luck to all Brian H.
