PAIR and Rockwell deal was for ADSL chip, you are correct.

RSS (Rockwell Semi) is just beginning to get the rate up on their HDSL chips. PAIR has been shipping single-pair T1-rate HDSL (the same 2B1Q) as in this ASND/ROK announcement for 3 1/2 years. PAIR doesn't sell a lot (relative to 2-pair T1 HDSL) because of RBOC provisioning rules with T1's (although, relative to the HDSL megabit access market, they sell an enormous amount <g>) The following Globespan announcement (courtesy of Scrapp's on AWRE thread) may ALSO be causing some pressure on PAIR (haven't made the rounds yet on PAIR downgrade rumor).
