Well, I think it's a good day . . . .

David Wells pitches a perfect game for the Yankees . . . The Washington Post reports a drug that may prevent breast cancer, endometrial cancer and osteoporosis . . . I'm still intact after pitching a softball doubleheader yesterday (and going 5 for 6 at bat) . . . and, oh yeah, I just bought some more IDX today at 6 and 7/8.

John,

Your "transition" guy checking in......We have figured out a way to get 3,000 square feet of furniture into 1,000 square feet. You just can't inhale.

The market seems to be a bit negative on IDX.......as if there may be some problems. The quiet is a killer. I think it is about time to give it a go.....Of course ASCOM may decide to just dump a million. Discount City?

Remember Printrak was promoting a product with the ability to allow State-to-State AFIS communication? That was giving us some cause for concern, since IDX and its partners don't seem to be going that way. I wonder now if Printrak isn't just trying to hang on in the AFIS marketplace with IDX getting all the new livescan business. If IDX is establishing a common standard, it is in Printrak's interest to be able to communicate with or be swept away.
