Big Dog: Loved your home site. I'm originally from San Antonio-moved out to CA over twenty years ago and what I miss the most is the BBQ. Can't find anything even close out here. What they call BBQ here is grilled meat with BBQ sauce over it. No chopped BBQ, no German potato salad, none of that delicious thin brown gravy, sauce, whatever you call it, no nothin.

My wife is about to come out to Kerrville to attend a week long excursion at Leon Harrell's ranch to ride some world class cutting horses since we can't afford one ourselves (my oil stocks won't cooperate). I envy her being able to get some of that great BBQ I miss so much. BTW can you tell me where Big Earl's place is located so my wife can enjoy some good cooking while she's out there? Maybe Big Earl can pack some up for her to bring home.

Take Care and Good Luck,

halfscot

Big Dog, Thanks for the info on Krause's! I took a back road out of Midland NE through a wide spot in the road called Gail, Texas, last week. At the Gail/Fluvanna Crossroad I stopped at a corrugated tin shack with a couple of "doolies" out front which was the local general store. The lady there had some really excellent BBQ served from behind the counter. I snagged it drove a little farther eastward to Polar, Texas, and sat there on a mesa with a great view of Salt Creek and munched good BBQ- in the middle of nowhere.

As for business, my guess is that the OPEC/Mexico/Venezuela coalition will sit down prior to next month's official OPEC Meeting and review where they are with their production limiting agreement....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
