Hey Mark, how are you doing?

Thanks for your response on the drillers thread last week. I concur with you on the oil service sector. On Friday I sold PKD, TMAR, KEG because the price of oil was continuing to fall. We all know the market reacts to the extremes and I decided to get out for now with minimal losses.

For now, given the short term slide in the market, I am looking to buy a few stocks I have had my eye on for some time. I am looking for a modest decline of 300 - 400 points. Only my opinion, since I have been wrong so many times before. A friend of mine, who I consider a true professional investor, thinks the market is only going higher, although he concedes 100 - 200 point declines reasonable. Given this fact, I will be buying these selected stocks on the dips and holding for 6 - 18 months.

As far as the oil patch is concerned, oil will eventually go higher and will make for some nifty short term gains later this year.

I am still holding some oils in my IRA.

Chris
