I do not identify with the expression: "core group of bashers." I have mostly antipathy for the adolescent blowups on this thread.(See post #32 of Melviticus' "Gasbag" thread.) One word stands out in your post: "desperately." Yes, I believe that Monas is desperately trying to make it work. So much so that I suspect that he is willing to fudge on the facts. But "naive"? I don't think so. More like, the end justifies the means. Mislead now, reward later. I agree that FAMH "will" be a winner. But when? Investor confidence is so low now that it's going to take a lot to overcome it. Even on big news this stock will not double overnight; it will spike and drop, spike and drop, thereby giving the wary-but-interested speculator time to get back in once they prove what they have been claiming all along. Meanwhile my money is working elsewhere.
