Mike, I have never read about aggressive acounting/accounting gimmickery being an issue during the 20's bull mkt Have you? I raise this issue because we have shattered every valuation record by a substantial margin and the quality of reported earings may be the worst ever. What do you tink ? Mike

MB: Catching up on my back reading of your thread, I noted your comments on Gretchen. Having also had the privilege of providing research material for some of her past articles, I share your views with respect to both her talent and her spunk. A few years ago, Gretchen wrote a hard-hitting article about one of my favourite accounting scam companies. The company threatened to sue, and her publisher started to cave.
