Mike, I have never read about aggressive acounting/accounting gimmickery being an issue during the 20's bull mkt Have you? I raise this issue because we have shattered every valuation record by a substantial margin and the quality of reported earings may be the worst ever. What do you tink ? Mike

Catching up on my back reading of your thread, I noted your comments on Gretchen. Having also had the privilege of providing research material for some of her past articles, I share your views with respect to both her talent and her spunk. A few years ago, Gretchen wrote a hard-hitting article about one of my favourite accounting scam companies. The company threatened to sue, and her publisher started to cave. Gretchen kept her cool, and her courage, and faced them both down. A very classy lady in all respects. Forbe's loss is the N.Y. Time's gain
Best, Earlie
