Doug, CHK is breaking down does this kill the signal and is a exit warranted. And what about VCR it wasn't on the watch list, any changes there.

Thanks Jack

MMGC

Doug:

This from last week:

"Mego Mortgage Corp. Wednesday said it proposes to recapitalize itself through a series of transactions and raise $40 million to $60 million through a private placement of stock.
The anticipated price of the stock is $1.50 to $2, the company said in a statement."

One of the shibboleths of private placements executed below current price is that price then tends to visit that lower figure.
Yes, indeed, MMGC is under scrutiny. Given the above, plus the cat's miserable response rate, I hope I won't play it till a multi-day signal in the $1.50 area, and I hope I don't even do that.
But you know me.

Ivan

Hi Doug- VII did a secondary at 8.75 (over 1 million shares) and is in low 8s now with average volume only around 40,000. Looks like a good place to buy some shares here for someone (I don't own it now).

ANIK is expecting FDA approval/disapproval within 180 days of the end of last year. A biotech "funny"mentalist last week gave them a "current" valuation of $26 for best case result, $16 for middle case, and $5-6 for disapproval. What does the TA tell you the results will be (around now to June 30?)? All the stuff I've read recently seems to indicate that management is a little paranoid about a hostile takeover (they even recently bought some stock although very little). Do you think they think the stock is possibly undervalued here? <g>

APCO,

Doug,

In your own words (well, as well as I can remember), "If the it is scary but there is no need to be then it is the best time to get in."
Doesn't that apply to APCO now?
