"What if... and what if...", Jim, I don't blame you. There are lots of uncertainties in the stock market. That's why it's so challenging and fun to stay in the market. However, if you don't know how to justify which "what-ifs" are more realistic or more true than the others, then you don't belong to the market. I would suggest you buy some CDs. At least you know the interest rates up front.

Oh c'mon, there are regulations surrounding this. It's called insider trading and would be generally available public information before he even did it. He has to notify SEC in advance before he buys or sells any shares of Dell.
