knight, There was a fire assay book mentioned and when I get a chance I am going to the college library and do a little research. I know that the procedure for removing and accounting for all of the pgms, gold, and silver is very complex, but in my research so far, the complexity seems to come from removing the other pgms from the platinum, the gold platinum separation is fairly straight forward. It might be possible for some metals to cause interference, but I really question with that much gold and platinum present that the SFA would show 0.00. Tim Hall
