Does anyone have an opinion of the action in the LEAPS?

Earlier today I bought a couple of LMFAR (Jan00 90 call) at 17. The spread was 16x17-1/2 but my limit order was immediately filled, raising the day's volume to 19. The next trade was a couple of minutes later at 16-1/2 raising the day's volume to 1019. Shortly thereafter someone bought 10 at the ask of 17-3/8.

Our government is all messed up. Our taxes have therefore gone to pay for this screwed up nonsense for years. IBM went through-I think I heard- 16 years of this nonsense before the case was dropped. Meanwhile IBM had to spend billions defending themselves, as well as the taxes they pay, of course, to pay for the offense against them. We pay both sides when the government sues us. The government should Never Never be allowed to sue. Only individuals should sue. Both subsidies to business and interferring with business are unethical and wrong wrong wrong.
