An 8% dip, only on MM pressure and no TAVA news or other market/economic news, seems to me a great buying opportunity...picked up another chunk at 11 1/2...

If you look at the Times & Sales, it appears to me that all the blocks 10,000 or greater are buys. The tug-of-war between the small blocks (100 to 3000) is being won by the sellers. This scenario looks bullish to me.

I'm still out of my trading position. I'd rather watch the chart hammer out a bottom and then get back in when the trend is up. I don't care if I miss the basement.

Still holding my core position. The FEAR of the "big" press release and my GREED just won't let me get rid of my core holdings. I was spooked a little by the lack of top-line growth at the recent conference call, and I'm sure a lot of "traders" feel the same way.

The "investor" in me is holding (and this 8% "sale" price of 11 1/2 looks mighty temptin'). But, the "trader" in me is still waiting to get back in.

What to do...

Best regards,
Joe

Agreed. I've seen the margin snowball selling effect more
than a few times with some of the semis I've owned.

Ron Reece also brought to light a fact that I've forgotten.
Microsoft is also tanking today, which is generally a short
term sell signal for the NASD in itself, regardless of what
has caused the sell off (in this case, the Federal and 20
state class action suits against Gates and Co). I doubt that
the effect is directly significant when it comes to TAVA, but the
MMs might be playing on this sentiment to bring the price
down on an already spooked public.
