>>somebody may put up some satellites next year that let phone companies connect long distance calls for a nickle a minute. <<
Mark, I appreciate your thoughts and respect your opinion. However, I couldn't let that statement go :-)
I know this was just an example you used, but being in the space business, let me tell you, ain't no way someone is going to put up satellites and charge a nickel a minute. Heck, Iridium is CLAIMING $3 per minute, and I think that is a buy-in price. They had to go to a rich Middle East deep pockets guy to spring for a lot of the front-end cost. Satellite technology is very expensice, and that is why thee will be a mix of media for the foreseeable future: satellite, cable, twisted pair, xDSL, fiber, microwave, you name it. The good thing is that DGIV is set up to use whatever, as long as you have a gateway at each end.

I would like to give you my opinion why I think DGIV is an atipical bb stock and poised for success.

There is a defensive team. It is with this team that you communicate at SI. We have been under attack for two weeks. We have only given in aprox. 20% from peak, this is nothing in bb world, yet 2 weeks is a very long time in bb world. I'd say we have been successful, very successful.

There is the offensive team, Mr. Chin and his people. The results of the closed deals from his endeavours have been communicated to us, for the new markets/deals we all have a feeling from where they are coming from. We know that this will hit the bottom line in the coming quarters There is a general concensus that J.C. has delivered in excess. I am willing to agree that we have not been very clear in the number crunching part, we know that the numbers are there.

There is excellent communication between both teams.

There is another angle which is hardly mentioned, only insinuated. Who are, or will be the partners -in the corporate/finantial world- that will walk with us.

These are my sincere feelings, hope it helps...
