Tom, I read a news article about the Catholic priest committing suicide because of a death sentence given to a Christian for insulting the Muslim faith. Do you remember what country it was in, however? The Muslim fundamentalists who are in power in many countries do not in any way represent the tenets of the original Moslem belief system, just as many people believe Christianity today has almost nothing to do with the teachings of Christ. I think what the priest did was very brave. The Church is having trouble coming to grips with the fact that he committed suicide, however, which as I understand is a sin. Is this correct?
