The depreciation is spread across ALL PRODUCTS manufactured on a process line.

By running higher volumes of wafers- CPUs + SRAMS+ Chip Sets - the depreciation/wafer is reduced.

Further, since the depreciation on many of these lines began in 1994/1995 time frames, the fabs will be fully depreciated within a year or two - assuming 5 year/straight line depreciation.
