The videonewswire site is pretty neat stuff as are the hotelview sites. Up to this point, I never had the occasion or need to download the realplayer (product of realnetworks). My network connection has never been great (even with my 56k modem) and at times I have trouble playing back some of these releases and hotel ads. From a product point of view, my take on them is that they are kind of like a production company. The prnewswire deal seems to be a very major deal for them, whereas I don't get the impression that the hotelview is bringing in nearly as substantial of revenue. I can easily see where "streaming media" is going to be a big future trend across the board on the internet and someone will have to be responsible for the production. I am curious to learn more and will have to do some additional reading. Two nice releases today.
