From 1984 to 1994, Andrei held a variety of marketing management positions with Hitachi Europe's semiconductor components operation in Munich, Germany, most recently as Manager of Marketing for Europe. In the previous decade he was a minicomputer project manager with Digital Equipment Corp. [NYSE:DEC - news] in Europe. Andrei, who is fluent in English, Romanian, German and French, received both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in industrial electronics from the Technical University Bucharest in Romania. He also received an MBA in International Business Management from the Henley Management College in London. As a well-known industry resource, Andrei is often asked to comment on semiconductor industry issues by a number of national technical and financial publications.
