Michelle, In auditing the auditors have a responsibility to audit anything that can materially affect the financial statements. When there are many many smaller transactions they will usually due a random test of a certain number and if they find no significant issues they will move on. If something pops up they will dig deeper.

In sebl's case any one of theses big deals can have a somewhat material impact. It's only my opinion but I personally believe that every one of these large contracts was reviewed in exhaustive detail to be sure everything was on the up and up.
