>>1. i belive we shall need more than one point up before sentiment changes, probably not until we show we can break and hold 35.<<

There are two sentiments if you want to include yours. The
First one is changing sentiment enough so that bargain hunters
feel it's time to get in. This will be the push to 33-36.

Then there's the sentiment of COMS making progress in the
earnings reporting time. If they instill confidence for that,
then the sky could be the limit.

As of the now, I'm concentrating on the first sentiment - getting
into the 30's - out of the funk....

>>2. it does not mean buying will not happen, but until clients get there shares, no upgrades will be forthcoming<<

Yes, you're right. But there has been a lot of buying already.
Possibly, the ANALyst are waiting for the end of month (pretty
soon) so that preannouncement month is over. Then they'll start
hyping the stock. They don't want to look 'too stupid', in
case something new comes out in the next week or so - which
I don't see happening, because the CFO blurb, to me was the
preannouncement.

>>3. i agree earnigns should be "good" in a downward revised sense.<<

This actually be good. COMS does not do well giving guidance. So
maybe it's better that the stock have low expectations, with
a weaker number to beat.... People don't like this, but
ANALyst just want to look good, then they'll do some of
the work for the stock. AND, what stock does not get the
benefit of hype. EVERY tech stock is the beneficiary of
hype....

Sometimes, I wonder if Eric B. cares that much what Wall Street
puts down as its earnings forecast.
