This should calm any fears about BancOne. <<< CheckFree Names John Limbert Executive Vice President - Customer Operations PR Newswire - May 18, 1998 10:00 ATLANTA, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- CheckFree (Nasdaq: CKFR) announced today that John Limbert will join the company as executive vice president of customer operations, effective immediately. As EVP - customer operations, Limbert will be responsible for all of CheckFree's electronic commerce customer operations, including customer care, payment operations, implementations, system conversions, and customer operations planning and development. He will report directly to the company's Chief Operating Officer Pete Sinisgalli. Prior to CheckFree, Limbert spent 20 years with Banc One, most recently as head of its Eastern Region Consumer Banks. In this role, he was fully responsible for a $10 billion consumer bank with more than 3,000 employees and 350 branches. Before that, he led Banc One's efforts to consolidate 17 Ohio bank charters into one. Responsibilities of that position included standardizing processes, establishing performance and productivity measures, consolidating redundant operations and centralizing loan, deposit and processing operations. Limbert also has served as executive vice president of Bank One/Akron, a $2.5 billion commercial bank with 60 banking centers. Earlier he was chairman and chief executive officer of Bank One/Wooster and spent several years as a senior lending officer for Banc One.
