This is good news and probably not unexpected. INTC is sick and tired of CPQ, HWP, IBM gumming up the inventory channel. Grove has stated in the past that he likes the way Michael Dell pushes Intel to make and deliver Microprocessors on time and that Intel wants to learn from DELL. It would appear that INTEL and DELL are now working to make this a reality. IBM, CPQ, HWP and other's have no choice but to raise their game as well. Unfortunately, they will not catch DELL. Mike is too smart.
