To justify the current share price and market cap,
they should make .75. Market cap now is almost as
high as HWP--nearly 150% of Compaq's. By the way
Compaq has over 15 Times as much Cash as Dell, not
including marketable securities. Dell's best-ever
quarter is puny compared to the results of HWP or CPQ.
They just haven't missed their analyst estimates,
which are puny compared to CPQ's or HWP's. If Dell's
estimates were anything like HWP's or CPQ's, Dell's
stock would fall LIKE A ROCK! A great company, Dell,
but look at their estimates compared to other companies
in this sector.
