Another perspective...
If it really was bad news, why announce it at this time? They could have sat on the news for months (like the equipment moved from NI to NV for example). My guess is that it signifies that R&D is over and they are ready to roll. Just my 2 cents.

Read the press release again. It clearly says that they have finishing the R&D stage and are now moving on to mass production. They DID NOT say the joint venture was being disolved. This is a very positive developement and the price of the stock will begin to reflect the news as soon as people figure out what it means.
