Hello Thomas, I just got back in town and was catching up on my SI reading and, like you, feel the "squeeze play" posts are pure nonsense.

I'm with Ibexx on this one, the catalyst for stock price appreciation won't be a few individual investors moving their shares off margin. In fact, it's my opinion thus far, that we won't have a "single" catalyst (unless a huge earnings surprise), but instead I see a gradual realization of the earnings potential that will trigger renewed buying by the funds. Of course by that time we hopefully will have seen a steady, albeit rocky, uptrend established. I think it's a more likely scenario that we'll see our shorts covering in a much more systematic way. I don't know, but it kinda gives ya a warm fuzzy feeling having all those ready buyers out there, wouldn't want to scare 'em all out at once. <g> bp
