Ron,

My rule of thumb regarding rumors (when I'm having a "smart" day), is that if I like the company, I'll look at a positive rumor as a bonus reason to invest.

However, if I don't like the company, or don't know the company, I try to ignore all rumors, as they are often deceptions spread to allow people to exit positions.

It sounds as though this process may take as long as half a year, though I hope it will take much less time. It's smart in that the Net+ARM hasn't yet contributed sales, so Osicom won't be smaller as far as sales -- it simply won't gain those sales.

We don't have enough information yet to judge this offering. The ambiguous press release may have been a "trial balloon" to measure the response of Wall Street and shareholders. I think both have spoken that fluff is meaningless to us.

As some have asked on Yahoo, do we trust Par with the proceeds from this IPO? To date, he hasn't given us any reason to trust him, in my opinion.
