Yes, I have some of my children's money in it since '91.

When I was a broker, I did not have to pay the fees.....today I would hesitate, as there are many places to place money without paying the sales fees.

Not that fees are a bad thing. The broker is working to find the client a position that the client does not take the time to find by him/herself. The broker gets a fee for this.

Today, for you and I, it would be expected that we could find our own way. Mutual Funds ...........eeeehhh,
