marc, IMO noone will bother rigs in port. Revolutions usually work around the oilfield equipment since both sides realize that the cash flow from energy operations are necessary to fuel the economy. I once stood on an onshore rig in Colombia and watched a pitched battle between rebels and Government forces- while we kept working.

Now I could see some drilling being held up here and there. But again Jakarta only figures in if permits need to be issued.... And do not forget that there is a lot of offshore activity offshore Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, and even the Philippines.... Drilling schedules can be re-arranged....

And perversely as an upside- if development operations are impeded then a cetain amount of oil will then be removed from the world oil markets....
