Geez...So now I'm stupid. Next thing you know I'll become considered a Nay.

I don't give a rats ass what you think.

If you must know, I recently had $2,000 in an extremely low interest savings account (which should be plenty for a young, single, and healthy male) reserved for emergencies. Plenty of money to cover for virtually ANY catastrophie (car/medical insurance deductable, huricane, etc...). Well now my balance is $100-$200, which is below my personal comfort level and I want to sell one of my equities to bring the savings balance back up to about $1000. When the money is repaid to me I will slowly shift it back to my investment accouts AND at that time reconsider RMIL.

Do I need the money??? NO, Would it make me feel better?? Yes. Would I normally need this money?? NO (since it's for emergencies).

My 401-k/Roth IRA are for retirement and I max those out with mutual funds. Rest of the money after paying the bills goes into my investment account. I want to liquidate $1000 and after careful consideration I chose RMIL. Bulk of my portfolio is in 2 stocks.

My largest holding is ICIQ. Hmmmm.....sell stock (in the company that I work for) that I plan on holding for at least the next 5 years...NOT!!!!!

I guess I could have sold some of my MIDLP (2nd largest holding), but that would be pretty stupid of me because if I sold now I would lose out on a 50% stock dividend on the preferred stock which was announced today.

Reality is that there is nobody willing to pay a $1/share for RMIL, so I will either have to sell CSMA (which would be following the investment maxim: buy high/sell low) or just live with it and hope nothing else bad happens in the interim.

It's not worth the effort of selling my other stocks since I'd have to sell all of them.

My RMIL sell order is in for $1.125. Think of this as a test of RMIL liquidity. Pugs&Riley claim that there was nobody willing to sell under $5 and that is why their buy order didn't get filled. By placing my limit sell order we shall see if that is the case. I think almost everybody (except those who still have their head in the sand) will see that this market is illiquid. I could be wrong here, but the first step (for those who have their head in the sand) is to admit that there is a problem and take that first step.

[edit: Did anybody make it this far??? Post is far longer than I intended]
