Bill your right about citrix,They have enjoyed some good action and profits.If an alliance with msft would bring voclf closer to a msft telco solution it could be good for all.I don't think Ganor would give anything away,particularly to msft.NT needs to get beefed up big time before it can be recognized in the industry as a stable platform.msft wants to get into the net via browser and that has just been killed.DOJ will win out in the long haul./That really crimps uncle bills desire to controll the net.The next step he had in mind was to break into the web tv and cable carrier networks with his buddy and cofounder.That is a broad and stable enviroment for msft to get into.The doj will not interfer.The next thing msft really wants is to broaden its hooks into telecommunication.The sat network is going to take several years and VOIP will be very built out before then.The cost is also a very changing thing.It will exceed all most all expectations in the end and will probably die a slow unending death till it revamps to a cheaper delivery system.On the other hand msft can corner the gateway and desktop VOIP client markets as quickly as it got ie on the millions of computers it has win95 or 98 on.Msft just needs to purge itself of a bad reputation of having a soft NT platform.Couple Voclf with Nt and whola you have instant industry recognition well almost but it is closer then most and better then netmeeting.With the ensamble gateways and ECI telcoms solution Voclf will have very good carrier class grade gateway switches for late 98 and 99.Msft would have to pay voclf big bucks to use its software.Any alliance with msft would benifit voclf by about 15 a share.
