jbn3, re:market makers If one needed any more ammunition to argue that the price drop last Friday was artificially induced, there it is. I sold the June 100 calls for $6 last Wednesday at a share price of about 96 or 97. Could have bought them back Friday morning (stock price ~7 points lower) for about 4 1/2. Was lucky to get them back this morning for 5 1/4. Bottom line 1: the market makers knew that the price was going back up. Maybe, maybe not. The action on Friday was more likely covering which commenced in-force 5/14 PM... Message 4464054 If so, don't start the victory dance just yet. The action today (Monday) may have been a common reflex.

JBN3, opportunity this am to write some calls against my DELL position. I'm in the process of selling 80 contracts of the June 85's & will sell another 70 contracts soon after. I believe given the negatives associated with Asia, the fear of continuing ASP declines in the pc industry, the possible increase in rates by the FOMC on july 1, and the concerns re. overvaluation of stocks in general we should see DELL trading in a $75 to $85 range until after the FOMC meeting. Your thoughts appreciated.
