Allen and Company owns 18%, and Paramount Capital owns 10% (rounded). Allen apparently organized the shareholder revolt which resulted in the hiring of Drs Kranzler and Blank in late 1995. When the company needed additional capital to fund the Prosorba Column research (now completed), Paramount Capital stepped up and provided funding. The Proxy Statement lists addresses for both of these institutional investors. It might be interesting to do a search to see what the track record for each has been.
