I would think the plan would be to take a half position in puts on rallies prior to the news, and the other half on any rally due to the news.

Hold overnight....give it until Thursday morning probably to percolate. If nothing is happening by then it would probably be wise to go flat and wait.

If I had to pick a probable time to take the first position, I would say 11 ET.
