After all those bearish posts, I'm up late checking things out. Not to sound like a soothsayer nor an insomniac (because both would be out of character), but I see surprising strength in store for the drillers and also for the broader market tomorrow.

Yeah, the osx might bounce off 108, but I would be surprised if we do not close above 110. But, I wouldn't be surprised if I am wrong, instead I'll only feel like I'm caught in a catch 22.

Wake me up on the opening bell.

Can someone who understands commodity contracts explain today's action in NY light sweet ? The expiring June contract is down 3% while July is up 1%. June is approx 13.68 while July is around 15.28, an approx 12% difference. Can we assume that today's trend is up (July) or is all the activity expiration-related ?
