The idea is to trade the options regularly.

When PFE goes up, buy back the puts,
When PFE goes down, buy back the calls, sell more puts
and so on.

I will have to see how the 1-month options (at a price of 3.25 now) change with price of PFE compared to the december options (at a price of 11.25 now) per your example.

It might turn out better to trade the front month as you suggest.

Yesterday I bought PFE at 106 3/4, sold 105 puts at 7 3/4. Later sold PFE at 110 1/2 (I think it gaps up today) and bought hte puts at 7 1/4.

If PFE does not gap up today, will buy it again and sell calls when I feel it has reached high for the immediate future. THen wait for it to go down, buy back the calls and sell puts.
