My answer is simple David. I believe Paul quoted that saying it was a mystery to those could understand who were saints. I understand the kingdom. It was revealed by The Christ in me. From these posts here I would only assume it wasn't made known to them because of a closed mind. Your Christ is a human called Jesus made aware by God of the Christ (he usually referred it as the Father Within.)in him. That is why maybe we don't see it the same way. I have been revealed also. That did not make the human perfect until all phases of Ego were overcome and I can't speak for Jesus but the fact I am very imperfect doesn't make me other than a human aware of the Christ spirit in my incarnation here.
