Maxwell, thanks for sharing your standards of learning with us. Here are answers to your question about time traveling.

Traveling back to the past without changing the history

This is called studying of history.

Traveling up and down the time line changing the history

This only exists in science fiction.

Traveling up and down the time line changing the history of one of the world of the parallel universe

This is getting interesting but still lies in the domain of science fiction.

Traveling forward into the future

This has been proven possible mathematically, an example being the Twin's Paradox.

Sending your own memory today back to your younger self

This is the most interesting part. Some professor has demonstrated that you do not have to use up energy to transmit information. If you can find the way to send your present day memory back to your younger self, what would you study now, lottery ticket jackpots? Then your younger self arming with new knowledge would start to do things differently changing the history. We can expand on this subject if you are interested.
