EMR issued the following news release today. If you can get access to the 1997 annual report, you can check out the financials first hand. You may be interested to know the news release does not appear on Canada Stockwatch. I believe Stockwatch consider such releases promotional and do not post them unless paid for by the company. I tried unsuccessfully twice to get the annual report from EMR's web site. It seems to want to down load and install acrobat reader, rather than just allowing one to download the emr1997.pdf file. Although I may be wrong, my guess is EMR will need to make changes to their web site; I suggest it be made similar to last year's annual report. Last year's works fine.
