Lew, not to mention the fact that there is a system, LDnet, using the Tempest system for 8 cities!

Single source vendor for hardware, software and billing, FTEL is thy Name!

Lew this is encouraging. The closer we get to a friendly turnkey system the better we are. This is certainly a needed item and would expect additional related products to follow. At least they better have.Such as fax video clients and various other items that clients could use.

Lew,"We project that an ISP that operates a 24 port gateway unit can
recoup its investment in the gateway in under 3 months."
isphone.net

also:
ldnet.com
$19.95 a month
"For a flat rate of $19.95 per month, you can make as many phone calls on our system as you care to make, and talk as long as you wish."

"Another approach we've been considering is passing along the extremely good tariffs we get in some areas. For example, we have a POP in Washington DC where local phone calls are free, unlimited! That means you can call into our POP in Chicago for a local charge (if you're calling from home that would be free (until somebody gets the FCC on us that is)) and then you dial a number in
Washington DC thru our network for free. We'd be greedy if we charged you
$19.95 a month for that. "

Lew, you are correct in stating that today's announcement was significant.

Franklin has the whole package, soup to nuts. When all the loose coconuts have fallen from the tree you will then see a price rise, that is my opinion. In the meantime, I suspect that there are entities that have a vested reason for seeing the stock depressed. This is not uncommon at all, especially on a bb that is about to grow up.

The way I see it, for under $3 you have multiple paths of revenue and potential share appreciation. Franklin for hardware, Fnet for both LD reves, plus wholesaling of time to others that join the network, and yes, even today's news could be a separate potential revenue stream. Other companies are actually trying to build businesses off transaction handling and some of the clowns on this board discount today's news with a yawn.

Go figure!

Remember with thunder there is lightning!
