the issue is not how it effects the signals for your box

the issue is how it effects the options pricing

again

if the oex is supported more than the spx for options expiration week (be it manipulation or natural ebb and flow) and the signals are showing the following week will be down...

then the oex may fall more than the SPX...

again...concept from yesterday
SPx down 1.95
OEX down 2.35

that is UNUSUAL to see it ahead and it was like that much of the day.....

so if the options pricing is not off of the futures.....then you would expect the oex option activity to be in your favor for puts versus the spx puts....

however if it is based off of futures the effect might be negligible

this may not effect your signals on your box
but it doesnt change the fact that it could be an issue for people who are not trading based on your box....

to try to gain an edge on a position from opt exp week to the following week

this same concept would apply on the flip side if factors lined up....for buying calls...
