Jim, what was the price of an IBM PC back in '87? Over the last 10 years, haven't we seen increasing content at lower prices? Is this not actually part of what propels the tech industry to find newer and better solutions to try to increase both product share and margin? Are you expecting the tech industry in general and the PC industry specifically to stagnate or come to a standstill?

Didn't we all use to pay up big bucks for software 10 years ago and now through competition, global price declines aren't we now getting some software free?

I obviously don't have a clue as to what the future brings but based on where we've been, I'm confident that not only will technology increasingly advance both product and software offerings, but also that successful PC vendors will find a way to increase both their market share and margins.
