Hello Bachman,
So what are your thoughts? I am pretty happy. I think Dell could easily make a whisper number of $.45. They ended up with 2.7 billion in cash, which is about a billion more than the last quarter, if I'm not mistaken. Assuming Dell uses LEAPS to buy back its shares, at a hypothetical strike price of $50 (I think they are actually paying much less than that), with 1 billion spent on this matter they could make it $.46 this quarter if they wanted to. In this environment however, when everyone, except Gateway, broke even or really disappointed, to beat the estimates by 5% and keep the cash on hands was a wise decission. Anyway, I don't expect any downgrades from analysts tomorrow.

By the way, I did buy those GTW calls. It will be interesting to see what happens with that stock over the next few weeks.

Regards,
J.
