I agree that PC Magazine should know about ObjectStore.

But I also think it's Object Design's job to make sure that they do. This is an essential part of the marketing function.

I still believe Object Design has a strong emphasis on sales and little emphasis on marketing.

Great buying opportunity for ODIS yesterday and today. Perhaps it was down in sympathy with MSFT.
For PC whatchamacallit, serious investors will look to serious speciality magazines such as DBMS Magazine where Object Design has won the object database of the year for the last 5+ years, every single year since the category has existed!

Here is a new press release. This is the first time I've heard about Object Design employing "evangelists".

Gustave...

>>I think ODIS right now is at a point where it does not have to gesticulate to get PRESS awareness: these so-called ''pro'' magazines are supposed to be written by ''computer experts''... well... talk about their expertise!<<

Not sure I agree. IMO, small companies NEED to continually fill the mags with stories and continuing interviews. These writers get to be "experts" by having companies visit them and really explain their products. They then become an "expert."

I will say this, in my experience, PC Mag. is much better than many in that they really do have some experts on their own. Nonetheless, still need to keep the news and product info flowing to these people.
