Why is everyone expecting news today??? I've posted numerous
times that we may not have news until next week... oh well,
if I'm wrong cool... but just don't all panic if there's
no news today... there is some news coming.. just a matter
of time for the comany to release it... however, they will
do it when they are ready.. not when we are ready... just
keep a level head on this one... if you trust the DD consider
picking up more when the dip ends and starts back up.

Is there anything to indicate we will get an announcement today or for that matter this week? Thanks in advance.

Pat

The NOVA announcement is not a big deal, IMHO. All it is is saying that they negotiated a group deal for their members. Now the members who wish to may sign up with NOVA to have their credit cards processed. But many of their members undoubtedly are already processing with somebody and are happy with their processor. The only way this will have a significant impact upon PKGP's bottom line is if they negotiated a nice residual sharing agreement with NOVA in which NOVA pays them a portion of the monthly revenues from their members' transactions. Residual sharing cannot be too high, lest it raise the rate NOVA charges to the members and thus prices itself out of the deal.

Any merchant in the USA can pick up the phone and call NOVA and request a processing arrangement with them ... although there may well be better companies for many of the merchants, including one company I own which does the same thing for groups of pharmacists, veterinarians, liquor store owners, and Business Improvement Districts.
