Sonki-Re:LOW/HD

On paper, LOW looks like a buy, but that kind of logic convinced me to buy COMS jsut before the USRX deal instead of CSCO, and we all know how that looks in hindsight. (BTW, I am now a very happy CSCO owner).

My investment in HD and avoidance of LOW is based purely on Peter Lynch type hands-on observation. LOW is a North Carolina-based company and obviously has a strong presence here, but at least in this area, HD has superior customer service and better inventory. I am an owner of rental properties and a builder, and trade at Lowes only when it is necessary. Most builders and commercial customers that I know agree. Lowes has been a very successful company, however, and has the potential for superior results as they are situated here in this high growth region .
