Oh, You've got to remind me of what you're talking about? This mMike guy just appeared today, and I made an off the cuff remark to him. I don't believe I stated that his data was accurate, reflected mine, or that I agreed. I just said this thread doesn't like "bearish" data. I think you could agree w/ that. The thread sure responded to it like it was bearish? But I'll take a look at your analysis.

wait a minute, I read that stuff of yours. His "data" is not really data at all. He was doing a simple comparative analysis. Which is subject to opinion, like yours or mine. His opinion of the comparison was bearish, and disliked. That's all I was saying.

Man are you good! Smarter than the average bear (by a longshot).
Your posts are a revelation as to how detailed and intense fundamental analysis really is. The insights you reveal leave bears disoriented, confused and scurrying to the familiar retreat of way-too-high PE ratios or stressing the fact that some analyst used the word "slowing" in a sentence regarding ethernet hub sales at xyz corp.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Chuzz,..Re:<<Fundamental Analysis>>

I too (along with MH) wish to thank you for providing clear and concise analysis to these frequently confusing and off-the-wall supposedly factual data. First, I am confused that HWP or IBM financial reports could be compared with Dell since both have extensive 'other' business proceeds. So I thought that I probably didn't know the whole story or was missing something or slow, but you manage to illuminate the important factors and then it's apparent that some people are just blowing smoke.

Also, this business of 'assumptions' is really arbitrary. If one makes a model to trade on based on certain fundamental 'assumptions', then the model is only as good as the assumptions. The farther away from reality the assumptions are, the more suspect the FA or model is. So, when assisted by your very astute analyses, it's easier for me to put into perspective the various 'probable' outcomes that some of the contributors propose. GGG

Thanks for all your good posts
