Bob,

Thanks for your nice comments.

Take a quick look at the NEW HIGHS and NEW LOWS, and also take a look at the VIX. The NEW HIGHS are still very weak and the VIX index is getting close to sell-off area.

Wouldnt it be a shocker to the bulls that after the GREENSPAN announcement at 2:15 the market does not rocket upwards, and an even bigger shocker if it just remained flat, and worse if it went down.

I was planning to get some calls to play intraday today, since I was also expecting a nice pop later today. After seeing the NEW HI/LO,VIX I am not as comfortable now playing intraday calls, so Im going to sit out and relax. If it does run up, well then I missed it, but still feel happy with my PUT position I closed yesterday for a strong positive result.

Seeya.

Bob, good post. It is hard not to have/express/feel emotion
when you flip money around and the prospect of making/losing
significant sums is real. Controlling those emotions
is the real task.

I would like to add to what you posted regarding individuals
becoming enamoured with their stock picking abilities.
I would add that during this ferocious bull market, a lot
of stockpickers were born. It hasnt been too hard
to make money (as long as you were long) in this market.
Throwing darts would produce a confident stockpicker.

It is always useful to be modest.
