RE: speedfam-sfam said the semiconductor order rate is slow but more important staTED first and second quarter of 1999-yes 1999-will not meet eps of 1998 first half. jtechkid: Are you sure they meant 1st and 2nd quarter of CY 1999, I think it was more likely FY 1999 - if so that really means they are predicting weakness for the next 6 months from June 1998 to Nov. 1998 NOT the first 6 months of 1999. (SFAM's 3rd Q FY 1998 ended Feb 1998). If somehow they have foresight into earnings 4 quarters out (2q CY 1999) they have my respect! Shane.
