Ingram Micro First to Offer 'All-In-One' CT Solution With Lucent, IBM
and Callware Bundle

SANTA ANA, Calif., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc., (NYSE: IM - news) the world's leading distributor of
technology products and services, today announced the signing of an agreement with Lucent Technologies, making it the first
distributor to offer an ''all-in-one'' computer telephony (CT) bundled solution. The new bundle brings together the most
requested CT products in a single solution combining Lucent voice processing boards with software from CallWare
Technologies Inc. and servers from IBM Corp.

''With the addition of the Lucent CT boards, Ingram Micro is the first and only distributor to offer the most requested CT
products in a single, bundled solution,'' said Laura Skinner, vice president and general manager of Ingram Micro's Telecom
Integration Division. ''Resellers now have the flexibility of buying the bundle as a single SKU, or they can purchase the pieces
individually to meet the needs of their customers.'' A Lucent-CallWare bundle is also available to resellers whose clients
already have the IBM server in place.

Ingram Micro's CT solution bundles include:

Lucent's voice boards - 2- and 4-port analog RDSP(TM) and Vantage(TM), 4-port analog international VPS and
RDSP/9432I, and 16- and 24-port analog PowerLine(TM) and digital T1 telephone network interface voice solutions
CallWare's Novell NetWare - compatible software solution for voice, unified messaging, and call processing
IBM's server - the platform for CallWare's software and Lucent's boards Available bundles include IBM's 7588
Telephony Server or an IBM Netfinity server, providing reliable, stable telephony platforms for systems up to 96 lines.

''Ingram Micro's 'one-stop-shop' strategy gives resellers what they want -- the convenience and flexibility to buy a complete
CT solution through a single point of contact,'' said Mike Seto, vice president of marketing for Lucent Technologies Computer
Telephony Products. ''This bundling approach validates our philosophy to offer simple, convenient and powerful CT tools to
customers so they can quickly grow their businesses.''

''Ingram Micro now gives resellers the convenience of having a bundled CT solution, a move that will emerge as a trend within
the communications industry. Bundling CT solutions will change the way people do business in that it gives resellers and their
customers the ability to buy the combination of CT products they need through a single, reliable source,'' said Alan D. Johnson,
director of marketing communications for CallWare Technologies Inc.

''The Ingram Micro bundle brings together a variety of CT products into one, easy-to-buy solution. Ingram Micro is
pioneering a change in the way CT products are sold because this allows CT industry leaders to combine their technologies in
complete solutions and make them readily available to the market,'' said Fred Yentz, manager of telephony solutions
development, IBM. ''Small and medium business customers need solutions; delivering them is our goal. Ingram Micro's
bundled solution strategy broadens the reseller base, increases solution availability and affordability. This translates into
increased customer satisfaction.''
