Dear Edward,

I certainly can't figure the market on a daily basis. I really thought Nortran would see a higher price today. The day is not over yet, however. The stock still must have some "scared money" in it. Scared money never is sold for a profit. IMO, Nortran is so much better a company than when I purchased it long ago at this same price. Had no president, no deal, and stock was at this same price! I am trying to free up some money to buy some more. I really do believe in the drugs. Mr. Forthright probably gets this "per Spec tives" newsletter, and that is where he determined that the price would fall -- wish I had anticipated this (would have owned twice as much), but it certainly goes against the grain for the Hoffman deal. If Forthright trusts this writer, then he should be buying stock now, because it is the same company it was, only much stronger now. We shall see.

I remain,

SOROS
