Well, I was at the press conference where the ASMLF Special Applications division was announced. Their stated motivation was (a) that business represents about 20% of the overall stepper market--it's too big to ignore, (b) the special apps businesses are somewhat counter-cyclical to the semiconductor industry, and (c) those markets are also growing rapidly, sometimes even faster than the semi equipment market. Of course, I'm sure they don't mind tweaking UTEK, either. Katherine
